New Conception and Optimisation of the Solar Collector manufacturing process – a tight collaboration with Hassler Energia Alternativa GmbH, a company rich in tradition.
The main concern in this project is preserving the production facility in Switzerland. To that end, there will be improvements in efficiency along with a structuring and simplification of the manufacturing process. In close collaboration with the client, an ecologically-sound product will be developed which meets these high demands.
Best eco-balance through minimal use of materials and the most modern manufacturing methods. Reduction of the aluminium profile to a minimum by using a thin collector basin, which is cut from a roll using laser cutting technology. By optimising the form, cutting waste can be virtually eliminated.
Efficiency will be further optimised through numerous improvements in detail. Optimally deployed thermal insulation and the consistent prevention of heat bridges to the outer surface of the collector will provide a better overall insulation. Sealing and ventilation will also be optimised. We will achieve this effect by using systematically deployed heat-insulating silicone and plastic components.
Modular construction
Thanks to the systematic use of injection-dye-moulded components and silicone formed parts that serve as connecting elements, it will be possible to assemble the collector without tools. This makes for much simpler assembly on the roof. This will not only please the assembler, but also the owner, since a short construction phase reduces costs.
In order to reduce the effort required in manufacturing, various functions will be integrated into a single component. These measures will make production more efficient and secure the production site in Switzerland.
Ventilation, sensor input, collector pipe retaining brackets and gasket seal in a single vulcanised silicone component.
