In our work for ERGON, the world-renowned Bike Specialists, we collaborated with them on the development of a collection of bike backpacks with the patented Flexible-Link back load bearing system. Along with development, FLINK took on the task of introducing the products to manufacturers and followed the whole process to release for serial production.

Flexible Link System - BIKE

The system offers comfort previously unknown among bike backpacks. The freedom of movement in the shoulder area and the solid connection in the hip area, perform even over rough terrain, and prevent any back discomfort caused by load shifting. The system even beats the competition in breathability.

Thanks to the minimal resting surface area and the adjustable distance from the body, the wearer’s back remains comfortably dry even after difficult climbing.

BD1 -Compact und practical

Model BD1 holds 12 Litre and wins you over with its simplicity. The generous and stable main zipper offers the athlete access to the main compartment and the compartment for the water pouch. The compartment for valuables is accessible from the outside and has room for a mobile and small materials. The flap can be used to hang the helmet or windbreaker and to compress and stabilise the main pack. The rain cover is stored in the floor compartment in the pack and, when needed, is just stretched across the frame.

BD2 -A talent for organisation

The BD2 is the BD1’s big brother and offers a multiplicity of practical compartments and sub-compartments along with the 15 litre packing volume. The special construction of the main pack allows you to expand the volume when you have a lot to pack. The main zipper gives you quick access to the main compartment and to the reservoir compartment. In a smartly designed flap, there are additional compartments, which allow you to bring along a large water bottle. The practical rear compartment can also be accessed while riding and is ideal as a compartment for sports bars, gloves or a digital camera.

BC3 - Robust and waterproof

The Waterproof BC3 is based on the larger frame of the ERGON-Series. The arrangement of the main zipper gives maximum access to the main compartment. The removable interior compartment offers room for tools and thus keeps materials stored behind it against the back. There is a separate access for the drinking system. The generous flap with its closed floor surface is suitable for accommodating a helmet and diverse small items. The practical rear compartment can be accessed while riding and is ideal for storing sports bars, gloves or your digital camera.
